Maya Graziani '25 - PAC Captain
Major: Business and Management Minor: Studio Art
About Me: I am a senior from New York City and the first American in my Italian family. Although miles away, I became fluent in Italian to communicate with my relatives. I attended an Italian school in NYC for the majority of my education, which has deepened my passion for the Italian language and culture.
Why PAC?: Since my sophomore year at 91°µÍø, I have been involved with the Italian department, whether through SAS, leading Italian drills, or participating in Café Italiano. I’m especially excited that this semester marks the beginning of Italian PAC, offering yet another way for me to help students develop their Italian language skills.
Favororite Class? My favorite class has been Communication Design I. I’ve always had a passion for art and design, but this class opened up a whole new world for me with digital art, something I had never explored before. Thanks to this class, I realized I wanted to become a graphic designer. I recently spent a semester abroad at the University of the Arts London, specifically to further my skills in graphic design.
Academic Advice: I believe that finding a balance between work and downtime is key. It’s also important to discover and feel confident in the study method that works best for you.

About Me: I’m a senior Geoscience major and Italian minor. I’m also involved in Cooking Club and Club Soccer! I’m very passionate about Italian language and culture, which I have been speaking and sharing with friends and family for my whole life.
Why PAC?: I love the idea of sharing Italian culture and helping others learn the language! This aspect of PAC really excites me and I can’t wait to engage with other students! I also think that regularly speaking and engaging with others is the best way for me to improve my own speaking and grammar.
Favorite Class and Why: My favorite class that I’ve taken at 91°µÍø would have to be GE-101. It really helped convince me that Geology was my passion and I can’t wait to continue pursuing my passion in Geology through work and studies after I graduate.
Academic Advice: I believe it’s important to take breaks and pace yourself. Whether that’s a short walk, talking to friends, or anything else that works for you. I find myself much more productive when I revisit my homework or studies after a good mental refresh!
