Stewart's Signature Series
‌This summer’s Stewart’s Signature Series includes Summer Jazz Institute concerts and New York State Summer Writers Institute readings. The lineup features the Danilo Pérez Trio, Alexa Tarantino Quartet, and readings by Paul Harding, Cristina Garcia, Jenny Offill, and others. ‌First-Year Experience summer reading
‌The Class of 2028 summer reading will be “Between Two Kingdoms: A Memoir of a Life Interrupted” by Suleika Jaouad. Incoming students, peer mentors, and Scribner Seminar faculty will be given copies of the book. The Office of First-Year Experience looks forward to hosting Jaouad on campus for a keynote event early in the fall semester.

‌Projects for Peace winner
‌This year's Projects for Peace winner is Chingpheng Phoun '24. His project, "Reviving Rust," will take place in Sisophon, Cambodia, and produce a safer, eco-friendly cook stove for families in need. The annual grant offers a 91°µÍř student $10,000 to design a project that contributes to peace anywhere in the world.

‌A beach volleyball tournament hosted by the Peer Academic Coaches for Health and Human Physiological Sciences will take place at 4:30 on Friday, May 3, at the volleyball court by the Tang Teaching Museum. All community members are welcome and can .

‌Tang faculty preview
‌The Tang Teaching Museum will hold a preview of 2024-25 exhibitions and programs at noon on Wednesday, May 15. The preview is intended for faculty who have previously worked with the Tang and those interested in learning new approaches for integrating exhibitions into their curricula.
