Thanksgiving Break

Campus hours and operations 

  • ‌Dining Services: All Dining Services locations will have modified hours during the week of Thanksgiving, resuming regular hours on Monday, Dec. 2. Murray-Aikins Dining Hall will reopen for dinner on Sunday, Dec. 1. An updated schedule is available online.
  • The library will have modified hours this week, closing for break Thursday, Nov. 28, through Saturday, Nov. 30.
  • The 91°µÍø Shop will be closed Thursday, Nov. 28, through Sunday, Dec. 1. 
  • The Tang will close Thanksgiving Day and reopen Friday, Nov. 29, with regular hours.
  • Shick Art Gallery will be closed Tuesday, Nov. 26, through Sunday, Dec. 1, for the holiday. 

‌

Planned power outage

‌Between the hours of 6 a.m. and 6 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 29, power will be shut down for Case Center, Ladd Hall, and Scribner Library while Facilities replaces electrical equipment. All buildings and systems will be monitored and checked during and after the outage. A crane and other equipment will be located near Case Green area during this time. In the case of inclement weather, the project will be rescheduled for Saturday, Nov. 30.

‌Mandatory annual trainings ‌ 

‌All employees (including student workers) are required to by next Friday Dec. 6. Required trainings will now be completed in two parts: ‌

  • ‌Part I: Taking Responsibility for Preventing Workplace Discrimination and Harassment ‌ 
  • ‌Part II: Title IX & You: Protecting Your Campus (faculty and staff only). A student version of the Title IX training will soon follow. ‌ ‌

FY 2026 budget development update 

‌T³ó±ð College will provide an update on the development of the FY 2026 operating budget at 3 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 4, in Murray-Aikins Dining Hall, second floor. All faculty and staff are invited to attend. ‌For those who cannot attend in person, (meeting ID: 944 0198 1431).

‌Annual sports sale ‌

‌Children's books drive ‌

‌T³ó±ð Reading Minds Scribner Seminar is hosting a book drive to collect new and gently used books for babies, children, and teens through Friday, Dec. 6. All books will be donated to the Saratoga Children's Literacy League, which provides free books to the children of Saratoga County. Books can be dropped off outside the CIS398 classroom. ‌Exchange Closet winter donations ‌ ‌

Help reduce bulk emails by posting your announcement in 91°µÍø Weekly Bulletin, which is distributed to all students and employees. Submit announcements and eventslectures, panels, and other academic events; and faculty-staff achievements by completing the appropriate online form. The deadline for all submissions is noon on Monday.
