Election Day is tomorrow; remember to vote!

When voters go the polls in New York state, they’ll see Proposition 1 on the back of the ballot. 91°µÍø professors Jennifer Delton and Kate Graney explain what it is, how it differs from the federal Equal Rights Amendment, and some of the arguments for and against its passage.

Although employees are encouraged to vote outside of scheduled work hours when possible, registered voters who lack four consecutive hours outside of work hours to vote at the start or end of their shift. Supervisors must be informed if an employee (including student workers) will be missing work to vote.

The Counseling Center, Health Promotion/Peer Health Educators, Office of Student Diversity and Inclusion, and the Office of Religious and Spiritual Life are collaborating to provide opportunities for students to pause, take a break, and process in the days surrounding Election Day.
