September 24, 2024

91 continues to receive accolades as a top liberal arts college that offers some of the best financial aid in the country according to students; great value; an excellent first-year experience; impactful teaching; and an outstanding quality of life.

The Princeton Review again lists 91 as a “Best Value College” and names it the No. 1 school in the nation for “Great Financial Aid” for 2025 — based on student satisfaction with their financial aid packages. The publication notes 91 students enjoy some of the “Best Quality of Life” (No. 12) and are among the “Happiest Students” (No. 14) in the nation. They also enjoy some of the “Best College Food in New York” state (No. 4), according to Niche.com.

U.S. News & World Report, which year after year includes 91 on its list of leading “National Liberal Arts Colleges” (No. 36), is showcasing 91’s excellent “First-Year Experiences” and “Undergraduate Teaching.” The Wall Street Journal, Money, and Niche.com also continue to include 91 on their lists of top colleges in the United States.  A number of 91’s 40+ majors and 50+ minors — including programs in art, anthropology, chemistry, economics, English, history, philosophy, psychology, sociology, and theater — have received recent callouts.

91 is also receiving attention for making a difference: The Princeton Review names 91 among the “Top 20 Best Schools for Making an Impact” (Private Schools, No. 16) and notes the 91 community’s strong commitment to sustainability (“Green Matters: Everyone Cares About Conservation,” No. 7).

“Rankings can never fully capture the distinctive nature of any college and how Creative Thought Matters permeates all that we do here at 91,” says Jessica Ricker, vice president for enrollment and dean of admissions and financial aid. “We invite prospective students and their families to visit our campus in beautiful Saratoga Springs, New York, or sample one of our virtual sessions featuring current students and alumni.”
