Barbara BlackBarbara Black, professor of English, has published a new book, (The Ohio State University Press), which examines Victorian Londons grand hotels as both an institution and a culture intimately connected to the urban landscape.

Jason OhlbergSarah DiPasqualeSarah DiPasquale and Jason Ohlberg, assistant professors of dance, presented research at two conferences, the National Dance Educators Organization (NDEO) annual conference in Miami and the International Association of Dance Medicine and Science (IADMS) annual conference in Montreal. Their work Periodization in Practice detailed research in planning and implementing phasic training schedules into the Dance Department curriculum during performance weeks as a means of potential injury reduction and improved performance.

Susannah MintzSusannah Mintz, professor of English, published a new book, (Bloomsbury), which explores representations of disability in crime fiction, from the earliest days of the genre to contemporary television drama.

Joan Ann SwansonJoan Ann Swanson, assistant professor of education studies, wrote a book chapter, "Technology as Skin, in the recently published Digital Technology: Advances in Research and Application.

Masami TamagawaMasami Tamagawa, senior teaching professor of Japanese, has published a new book, "," which analyzes the transnational experiences of Japanese LGBT diasporas in the U.S., Canada and Australia.
