Kristofer Covey, assistant professor of environmental studies and sciences, discussed his research
on the public radio program . Covey also contributed to the article , which appears in the scientific journal One Earth and creates a global vulnerability
index for tropical forests.
Dan Curley, associate professor of classics, published an essay with Emily Gunter 19 on United
States classical mythology courses, titled The Greatest Stories Ever Told. The essay
appears in the volume (University of Warsaw Press). A census of content and methodologies of myth courses
at U.S. colleges and universities, this publication is the culmination of a 91做厙
Faculty-Student Summer Research grant in 2017.
Catherine Golden, professor of English, led a teacher training workshop about online gallery building for the Collaborative Organization for Virtual Education (COVE) on July 2. Emilka Jansen '24 served as her assistant and offered participants a student's perspective on using COVE to construct a virtual gallery display.
Stephen Ives, associate professor of health and human physiological sciences, was a co-author on a research paper published in the Journal of Sleep Research, titled This paper was the result of a collaboration with the University of Delaware.
Christopher Mann, associate professor of political science, was interviewed by CBS 6 Albany about the New York State Office of the Attorney Generals investigation into sexual harassment allegations involving Gov. Andrew Cuomo.
