Clements, of New York City, selected 70 works for exhibit from 217 pieces, a record number of submissions in the history of the show. Original ceramics, communication design, drawing and painting, electronic media, fiber arts, metals, photography, printmaking, and sculpture, completed by 91°µÍø students during 2009, were submitted. A total of 99 students entered works; 58 are represented in the show. Clements also selected nine awards for outstanding works, which will be announced at the opening reception. These awards are funded through donations made by friends of the gallery, campus organizations, and community businesses. A complete list of winners will be posted in the in the gallery and on the Schick website along with a juror's statement.

An artist who works primarily in drawing and various media on paper, Clements creates intricately detailed images of her own environment, domestic interiors, or renderings of film or television stage sets, revealing the inner workings of her mind. She is known for her large, panoramic works that often shift perspectives and encompass entire exhibition spaces, measuring up to 10 by 46 feet. The Kinz + Tillou Gallery of New York writes, "Clements explores a world of interiors, arduously rendering either her own immediate environment in a series of detailed and expressive drawings or capturing the staged sets of films and soap operas by continually replaying and carefully observing them."

Clements recently received the exciting news that her work will be included in the 2010 Whitney Biennial, Feb. 25–May 30. Represented by Pierogi Gallery in Brooklyn, N.Y., she will also be featured in an exhibition at their satellite exhibition space, "The Boiler," in a March 26-May 2, 2010 exhibition. Rounding out a full spring schedule, Clements will also exhibit in Los Angeles from May 1 - 29, 2010 at Acme Gallery. Her many exhibitions include Kunsthalle Wien in Vienna, Feigen Contemporary Gallery in New York, the Andy Warhol Museum in Pittsburgh, the Pump House Gallery in London, and the Tang Teaching Museum in Saratoga Springs, N.Y.
