‌Employees are invited to a casual social hosted by the Queer Faculty & Staff Affinity Group at the Wyckoff Center from 4 to 6 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 30. This gathering is an opportunity to connect with fellow queer colleagues, share experiences, and build a supportive community. Light refreshments will be served.

‌StartUp 91°”Íű will be held Sunday, Oct. 6, in the Billie Tisch Center for Integrated Sciences. All students are welcome to participate in this one-day program, where they will work with alumni mentors to develop and pitch a business idea. Lunch will be provided, and prizes will be awarded. , featuring more than 30 events at venues around Saratoga Springs, is scheduled to take place next week, Friday, Oct. 4, through Monday, Oct. 7. Professor of American Studies Beck Krefting, Associate Professor of English Melora Wolff, Professor of Political Science Beau Breslin, and Jaye Austin Williams '04 will be among the presenters.

‌Homecoming Weekend tailgate and pickleball 

‌The entire 91°”Íű community is invited to celebrate on Saturday, Oct. 5. Join in on from 10 a.m. to noon and a $15 tailgate from 11 a.m.-3 p.m. in the Wachenheim Field parking lot. An ice cream truck will provide free ice cream at the tailgate. Contact Alumni Engagement with questions.

Athletics News

Liberty League play kicks off for fall teams this week. Women’s soccer will play its home opener at 4 p.m. on Wednesday against Clarkson. Volleyball has back-to-back home matches this weekend with its 7 p.m. Stable Game Friday at the Williamson Sports Center. The Thoroughbreds will then take on nationally ranked Ithaca at 2 p.m. on Saturday. Also on Saturday, field hockey hosts St. Lawrence at 2 p.m. and women’s soccer has a showdown with William Smith at 3 p.m. at Wachenheim Field.
