Frequently Asked Questions

Who does OSDI serve?

OSDI aims to make 91°µÍø a more socially just campus for all students, with a focus on providing support, advocacy, and resources for marginalized students on campus. When we say "marginalized," we mean students with social identities that are given less power in our current society. For example, this could mean students of color, trans students, disabled students, fat* students, poor/working-class students, queer students, students who practice non-Christian religions, undocumented students, etc. and students with any combination of these / other identities.

* At OSDI, we follow the lead of  and use the word "fat" as a re-claimed, empowering term that can be a central part of an individual's identity and simply describes the size of a person's body without a value judgement.

Where can I find detailed information on OSDI programs and workshops?

Each semester OSDI and its affiliate clubs and organizations offer a variety of events, programs, and workshops. Students are encouraged to sign up for the OSDI newsletter and check out the OSDI website, , and for more information.
