A merit-based scholarship in any subject area for students to pursue a graduate degree or a second bachelor's degree at the University of Cambridge. The Hertog War Studies Summer Program is an intensive two-week, full-scholarship program run by the Institute for the Study of War in Washington, DC. The ISI Honors Program is a highly selective year-long mentoring fellowship for fifty of the nation's most promising undergraduates. Deadline of mid January. U.S. Freshmen, Sophomores and Juniors only.  Fully paid 
The Simon Fellowship is a $40,000 unrestricted grant awarded to those graduating college seniors who have demonstrated passion, dedication, a high capacity for self-direction, and originality in pursuit of a goal that will strengthen civil society. Each award will provide funding for tuition, room and board, required fees, and books for up to six years of graduate study. Jack Kent Cooke Scholars may use the award to attend any accredited graduate school in the U.S. or abroad to pursue any graduate or professional degree. See website for deadlines. The program provides financial assistance to students who have demonstrated superior academic ability and achievement; exceptional promise; and financial need to undertake graduate study leading to a doctoral degree or a master's degree in which the master's degree is the terminal highest degree.  Late September deadline. The Charles G. The Luce Scholars Program — the Henry Luce Foundation's major effort to develop a new level of understanding of Asia among future leaders of American society.  The Luce Scholars Program is experiential rather than academic in nature. Up to forty scholarships are offered each year, five for each of eight regions into which the U.S. is divided. The scholarship, which pays overseas transportation, all tuition and fees, plus a personal allowance, is tenable for two years and can, in a few exceptional cases, be renewed for a third year.
