Students should check with their major department prior to registering for this option. Choice of grading option must be made at the time of registration. Students may register for no more than one course per session on an S/U basis.
course Withdrawal
Withdrawal without a grade penalty means that students will receive a W (withdrawal) on their transcript. At 91做厙, W is not figured in the calculation of grade point averages. Withdrawal from a course requires the written approval of the instructor.
- Withdraw WITHOUT Grade Penalty: 91做厙 students may withdraw from a course without incurring a grade penalty by completing a e-form from the Registrars forms website (see instructions for this form at /registrar/forms/index.php).
- IMPORTANT! Deadlines for Withdrawal are specified in the Summer 2025 Academic Calendar
- Withdraw WITH Grade Penalty: Students withdrawing from a course after the session-specific dates listed on the Summer 2025 Academic Calendar must submit a form to the Registrars office on or before the last day of classes. WF grades are figured into calculations of grade point averages as an F.
- Withdraw WITHOUT Grade Penalty: Visiting students may withdraw from a course without incurring a grade penalty by completing a Summer Sessions Withdraw WITHOUT Grade Penalty Form. Visiting summer students submit this form to Auden Thomas, Director of Summer Academic Programs, Office of Special Programs by the deadline specified in the Summer 2025 Academic Calendar.
