Maintenance of Public Order
91°µÍø is private property. As such, consistent with New York State Law, college policies, and community expectations, the Department of Campus Safety, working in cooperation with Student Affairs or Human Resources as appropriate, on behalf of 91°µÍø may prohibit or remove guests, visitors, and other non-community members from 91°µÍø property at its discretion or the direction of relevant offices, including:
- Any former student who has been formally separated or expelled from the College as well as any current student, who has been suspended or temporarily directed not to be physically on 91°µÍø property; or
- Any former employee who has been formally separated or terminated from the College as well as any current employee, who has been temporarily directed not to be physically present on 91°µÍø property.
- External third-party businesses, marketers, sellers, vendors, and similar entities and representatives on campus without prior authorization from the relevant 91°µÍø College office or organization. This includes banks and other financial institutions as the advertising, marketing, or merchandising of credit cards on campus is prohibited.
In addition to the Student Code of Social Conduct, Employee Handbook, and other relevant college policies, grounds for removal may include but are not limited to any action or situation which recklessly or intentionally endangers mental or physical health or involves the forced consumption of liquor or drugs for the purpose of initiation into or affiliation with any organization.
Furthermore, Campus Safety reserves the right contact the Saratoga Springs Police or other relevant state or local agencies or law enforcement officials for assistance.
Any violation of this order may also result in an arrest by local law enforcement of the trespassing individual(s) and, for current employees or students, disciplinary action under the appropriate college policy in addition to immediate removal from the premises.
