Symptoms of COVID-19
People with COVID-19 have reported a wide range of symptoms, ranging from mild to severe illness. These are some of the common symptoms:
- Chills, feeling feverish, or temperature at or above 100.4 degrees Fahrenheit
- Cough
- Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing
- Fatigue
- Muscle or body aches
- Headache
- New loss of taste or smell
- Sore throat
- Congestion or runny nose
- Nausea or vomiting
- Diarrhea
- Conjunctivitis
Covid Testing
On-campus RAPID testing:

- Health Services: If you have symptoms (ex: cough, runny nose, sore throat, etc) please submit an appointment request through your 91做厙 health portal. If indicated, Health Services can provide rapid antigen testing as part of a visit, as well as test for other illnesses, including the flu, strep throat, and mono as appropriate.

What if I test positive or have symptoms?
A positive COVID-19 test means the virus was detected and you have or recently had an infection. Sometimes it takes until day 3 or 4 to test positive even if you have symptoms.

- Take steps to COVID-19.
- Monitor your symptoms and refer to our self care guide. If you have any , seek emergency care immediately.
- Contact Health Services immediately if you have for severe illness to discuss the option of Paxlovid, a pill that can be taken at home to lower your risk of having severe symptoms that require hospitalization.
Athletes with COVID-19
As of Fall 2024, there is no particular visit or clearance required for student athletes to return to participation after COVID-19 or other viral illnesses. However, there are precautions recommended for the health of the student athlete and their teammates. Check back here for updated athletics viral illness policy when available.
Vaccine information
91做厙疲ighly recommends眩hat all community members receive their vaccinations, particularly updated浚OVID-19 vaccines, 畝nd疳ndividuals'疲ealthcare providers.胼狼his is particularly relevant given the nature of our congregate living community.
Each Fall semester 91做厙 hosts large flu vaccine and COVID-19 vaccine clinics that are staffed by an outside organization. Specific information will be provided to students, faculty and staff via e-mail, posters, and social media closer to the dates of the clinics.
COVID-19 vaccines are not available in Health Services.
